Rare Hindi old songs
I have listed some rare songs which are not so popular yet melodious.
1) Meri jaan mujhe jaan na kaho
This wonderful song is from the epic movie “Anubhav”. The film is directed by Basu Bhattacharya. Geeta Dutt’s earthy voice did total justice with this beautiful song penned down by Gulzar. Beautiful cinematography presenting Tanuja at her best! The deep expression in Sanjeev kumar’s eyes and innocence of Tanuja with rain drops falling in the background is a treat to watch. The more you listen to this song the more you get hooked to Geeta Dutt’s voice. Hats off to the music director, Kanu Roy for composing such a mesmerizing musical piece. With very few instruments in the background, the song presents its own class.

No choreography, only expressions. awesome work!
Another masterwork by awesome poet
Yogesh. This Heart rendering song is from the movie “Rajanigandha” adapted from
Mannu Bhandari’s short story “Yahi Sach Hai”. The irresistible voice of Mukesh in

for this song in playback singing. Shot in a single cab, the director very
wisely has encapsulated so many emotions and dilemma of the actress in a single
song. The fresh music of music maestro Salil Chaudhary will linger in your mind
for a long time.

Another awesome yet underrated song from
the 70s is “tum ho mere dil ki dhadkan” from the movie “Manzil” directed by Basu Chaterjee. This delightful song is composed by the

expresses maturity and sincerity in love in a very gentle way.
